- Translations are charged according to the number of words in the source text, i.e. the document we receive from the client. Quotations are free and are submitted to the client within 24 hours of receipt of the request. This rate includes internal quality checks, but does not include the costs of an external proofreader. This needs to be specified by the client.
- An additional fee of 10% is charged for documents that are not submitted in an editable format (PDF’s, hard copies, scanned text, etc.) to cover the costs of recreating the document. An estimate will be provided upfront, with the final invoice based on the translated text.
- The quotation and timeframe for delivery will depend upon the size, nature and complexity of the material provided. Each of our translators produces a daily average of 1 500 to 2 500 words per day, again, depending on the content to be translated.
- We are dedicated to meeting delivery deadlines provided the quality of the translation is not compromised upon. In the case of urgent translations, an express order surcharge of 20% will be levied. Whether or not a job qualifies as an express order is determined at the quotation stage and is based on the scope of the project, as well as the deadline requirements as agreed upon by both parties. Please note that NO translation performed under pressure can ever be quite as good or as accurate, despite the best intentions. We therefore request clients to try as far as possible to afford us reasonable lead times.
- All projects are quoted on individually. Please email us for a free quotation.
- Upon acceptance of the translated material, the client shall receive an invoice. Our payment terms are seven (7) business days and may be made by direct deposit, bank transfer or via Paypal. Our offshore account facility simplifies the payment process for our international clients.
