1. The client submits the documents to us electronically and receives an acknowledgment of receipt. CDs or any printed material may also be sent to us by international or domestic courier. The same options apply for delivery of the final product.
  2. A quotation is prepared and submitted to the client free of charge within 24 hours of receipt of the request.
  3. Should the full document not be available at the quotation stage, an extract may be sent with an indication of the estimated word count upon which the quotation will be based. The final invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
  4. Upon approval of the quote, the document is allocated to a subject specialist within our team of professional translators.
  5. Our translators can individually handle an average of 1500 to 2500 words per day, depending on the subject material. Where necessary, a team of two or more translators are allocated to a project to ensure that the deadline is met.
  6. In-house proofreading and quality checks take approximately a quarter of the time needed for the translation process, which is factored into the overall delivery timeframe. For documents destined for publishing and printing, we recommend proofreading by an independent proofreader, a service we are able to provide, but which is not included in the cost of the translation. It is essential that clients specify this as a requirement when requesting a quote.
  7. The translated material is returned to the client via email (or may be obtained from our ftp site).

Upon confirmation of receipt of the translated material, an invoice is submitted to the client which is payable within seven (7) business days.
